Refunds and cancellation
This policy applies to PeckQ subscriptions supplied by IMPI TECH (PTY) LTD through the payment processor identified at checkout.
Free trial
A trial may be cancelled any time before its 14-day period ends. Timely cancellation prevents the first subscription charge. The exact trial end and first charge date are shown before checkout is accepted.
Paid cancellation
A paid monthly subscription may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and PeckQ remains available until that date. The subscription will not renew after cancellation takes effect.
30-day money-back guarantee
You may request a full refund within 30 days after your initial subscription charge or a renewal charge. If we approve a refund under this guarantee, the affected subscription will be cancelled unless we agree another arrangement with you.
Outside the 30-day guarantee, PeckQ does not automatically provide partial-month refunds. We consider material service failures case by case. This policy does not limit any refund, cooling-off, or other right that applicable law gives you.
Email contact@peckq.com with the restaurant name, account email, transaction date, and reason for the request. Do not send payment card details. We aim to respond within five business days.
How approved refunds are processed
When PayFast checkout is enabled, approved refunds are submitted through PayFast to the original payment method, subject to its payment-method and transaction limits. Processing time after approval depends on the bank and payment method.
Failed payments
PeckQ provides a seven-day grace period after a failed payment. If payment remains unresolved after the grace period, access may be suspended. Suspension does not cancel amounts already due.
Data after cancellation
Cancellation does not cause immediate deletion of all data. Draft messaging data is generally retained for up to seven days, and established customer and waitlist history for up to 12 months after the latest waitlist entry, subject to legal, security, and valid deletion requirements.
